Nude Project in Rome
A two-part pop-up in Rome for a brand that wanted to test the city before signing a lease.
The problem
Nude Project was weighing up Rome as its next permanent location. A lease is a long commitment to make on a hunch, so the brief was simple: test the city first, then decide.
The insight
A few weeks in a rented space tell you things a spreadsheet can’t. Who walks in, who stays, what they ask about, and whether a community-first way of selling clothes travels to a new street. Rent the city for a while before you commit to it.
What we decided
With Go—PopUp, we brought Nude Project’s community-first retail format to Rome and treated the pop-up as a test of the city. It ran in two parts: a private painting workshop for an invited group, then a public opening. We sourced the venue and arranged the production locally.
What happened
Rome got a private workshop and a public opening, and Nude Project got a close look at the city before signing anything. It’s the logic we bring to every market entry now: go in for a short while, learn quickly, then decide what deserves to stay.
