How the Lab scores.
Readiness
Seven areas, each question weighted. An answer earns 0 to 100 points; an area is the weighted average of the questions that apply to you. A question that doesn’t apply leaves the calculation instead of counting as zero. Where your numbers or your website answer a question, the test fills it in and marks it; you confirm or change it. Every result keeps the version it was scored with.

Bands
Product-defined readiness categories. They describe preparation, not the chance of success.
- 0–39Foundation stage
- 40–59Early validation stage
- 60–79Pilot-ready potential
- 80–100Advanced preparation
Market fit
Your readiness, existing presence, language, logistics (with a rule for the EU customs border) and the partners we hold for your category. A score appears only when there is enough to go on. Markets are ranked only when they are at least five points apart. Every factor shows where its evidence comes from.
Matching
Incompatible partners go first: excluded categories, markets they don’t cover, a price tier two steps away. The rest are scored on six weighted criteria. A criterion we can’t evaluate earns nothing.
Criteria weights
- Product category25%
- Target geography20%
- Price positioning15%
- Customer segment15%
- Distribution model15%
- Commercial readiness10%
Partners scoring below 40 are not shown. Score = Σ (weight × criterion score) ÷ Σ all weights; a criterion we can’t evaluate scores 0 and is listed as missing.
What the numbers don’t say
- Answers are answersThe score is as accurate as what goes in.
- Fit is not interestAligned records say nothing about whether a partner is looking.
- Our data has edgesWhere we have little, we show little.
